With One Eternal Round, I was interested in exploring circular motion in all its beautiful complexity. In this sculpture, the marbles move and the wood is shaped in circles within circles, vertically, horizontally, concentrically, and randomly.

I made the sculpture from black walnut, white oak, ash, maple burl, and snake wood, the chimes are brass and the marbles are 5/8 inch brass and steel.
