One Eternal Round

Created in 300 hours over 6 months, “One Eternal Round” explores the intricacies of circular motion. Marbles dance within wooden circles, moving vertically, horizontally, concentrically, and randomly. The brass chimes and 5/8-inch brass and steel marbles add an auditory element to the piece.

The main body of the sculpture is made from black walnut, white oak, ash, maple burl, and snake wood; the chimes are brass; and the marbles are 5/8 inch brass and steel.
