Integrated into a park fence, “Untitled” features stars undergoing a captivating metamorphosis, transitioning seamlessly from six-pointed to four-pointed configurations. Continuing the piece’s play on positive and negative space, the moon appears as both a waxing crescent and a waxing gibbous.
“Untitled” was commissioned for the 337 Pocket Park project by Salt Lake City in 2018 and can be seen at 337 South 400 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.
This piece is 36 inches by 36 inches and created from laser-cut Corten steel.
