Origami Frog

Frogs are my favorite animal.

To craft this metal origami frog, I began with a paper pattern. Next, I identified redundant double layers that weren’t essential for structural support and eliminated them, streamlining the folds.

Using a scribing tool, I marked the fold lines onto the metal surface before cutting out the outline. I figured out the sequence of the bends in order to have the necessary leverage for each bend.

Then I went to town and brought the frog to life with each precise fold. If you press on the back of the frog, it will even give a little hop.
