“Little Christs” is built around the two possible regular octagrams (8-pointed stars), which represent Christ. Nested inside and tucked around, the pattern is repeated fractal-like throughout the ten layers in various sizes. We are those Little Christs, both becoming the body of Christ and becoming like Christ.

I originally created this design in wood years ago. I took that design and made it thinner, lighter, and more precise by using laser-cut stainless steel. This piece is 18″ by 18″.
