Shortly after completing One Eternal Round, I wanted to prove to myself that not all sculptures had to take 6 months and 300 hours. Also, I wanted to make something that kids could play with, choosing where to put the marbles. And so, the Dust Devil was born. It is made of walnut and ash with two intertwining spirals for the tracks and a turned funnel for the base. It is 11″ wide, 12″ deep, and 13″ tall.
